Madhumati river

Details

The Madhumati river originates from the Gorai river in Nakol union of Sreepur upazila of Magura district. Then the water flow of this river flows in the river Shaaldha, flowing through the village of Vaisona 09 in Kalia upazila of Narail district. Although the flow of water in the dry season is moderate, during the rainy season, floods in the river basin over the dusk are flooded. The upstream side of the river is affected by the tide effect.
